Movement and gestures have been long associated with language and meaning. There are several ancient concepts that Step I.N aims to teach. These concepts are rooted in Buddhism, Hinduism and are used as a form of expressing meaning or even as means of meditation.
Chandni being Moonlight emphasizes the human connection to graceful movement and the celestial. It is used as a form of dance language to communicate messages and morals.
Apsara being a form of divine dance practiced in many cultures including Cambodia used to accompany epic poems.
Mundras are Hand gestures that often represent philosophical meaning. They are also used as art expression and even in meditation.
Step I.N aims to connect these ancient dance moves to accompany modern day health and wellbeing. Classes emphasize on dance movement and relaxation in the form of meditation.
